When it comes to my kid’s wardrobes, they have clothes not only in their current size but in bigger sizes too, especially my 2 year old. Picking out clothes at times, involve looking for the label for the size. So to eliminate that extra time spent, I decided to make some wardrobe tags for them (well me), that will help organize clothes by age group.

Wardrobe tags are a fun, cheap, easy project and not to mention so satisfying when you open the wardrobe!

To get started, you need:

  • Empty cereal box
  • Old Cd
  • Scissors
  • Top of a spice bottle (circle)
  • Construction paper or any paper that you like the pattern
  • Pencil
  • Glue

  1. Using the Cd trace a circle on the cereal box and 2 circles on your paper. Cut them out.
  2. Glue the paper to the cut out cereal box, on both sides.
  3. Trace the smaller circle (top of a spice bottle), in the centre of the bigger circle and Cut it out (remember to make a slit on the bigger circle, so the tag can get on the rod of the wardrobe)
  4. Use a label printer or use a marker to label the wardrobe tags, with the age group you need.
